How to Register in VBulletin forum : Step by step Guide

I frequently get mails asking how to register in the forum.
Here is a short write-up.



Step 1 :
Registration has to be initiated from the link:
http://www.indianjobtalks.com/forum/register.php
This link is available on the left in the navigation bar, below logo.

Step 2:
Once clicked, the registration form takes you to the terms and conditions page.
You need to agree to the rules of the forum by clicking the square box at the bottom of the rules. "I have read, and agree to abide by the jobs India rules."

After this, click the "register button".

Step 3:
This is the actual registration page.
You need to fill-in all the fields in the page to get through.
a) User-name :
Type your desired username here. Even while typing, it will tell you if the desired username you type is available. If the username you want is not available, just try another.

b) Password :
Enter your password here, and confirm your password in the next box.

c) E-mail address:
Enter your mail id and confirm your mail id in the next box.

d) NoSpam verification:
A simple question will be asked and you are expected to give the answer in the box provided.
Example : What is the capital city of Maharashtra?
Answer : Mumbai

The answer is not case-sensitive. Meaning, GREEN and Green are the same as grEEn.

e) Click your gender (male or female)

f) Enter your place of living. Or any city or country. Or just type India.

g) Enter your Date of Birth.

Step 4:
Click the button "Complete the registration".

If you enter all the details correctly, your form will be accepted.
If there are any errors, the form will tell you what mistake you have made. Correct the details and resend the application.

If you are not able to register even after reading this, let me know.
But please give some detail regarding what is the problem you encountered or where you got struck up.

I can try to set up an account for you, but i need the following details:
username, e-mail id, DOB, male or female, your location.

But remember this is the last resort. If you casually ask me to register on your behalf, your mail will not be responded to.

Remember to check your spam folder, as sometimes the mail from the forum will land in the spam folder.

You will need to enter the e-mail which you used to register.
If you don't remember mail id, register a new account in the forum.

I am getting many mails saying that the registration failed, as the answer to NoSpam question is wrong.

Note that the answers are not case sensitive.

I have checked and confirm that there is no problem in NoSpam answer expected.

We are having more than 100 successful registrations on an average in a day and hence, the answer cannot be wrong.
